Day 1: Zagora – Tamegroute – Erg Chegaga
4×4 pick-up at your hotel and drive to Tamegroute, a Draa Valley village known for its pottery, with the Nasiriyya zaouia and its 17th-century Koranic library. Then M’Hamid through the palm groves and, after lunch, the track to Erg Chegaga. Arrival around 4 pm in winter and 6 pm in summer: swap the 4×4 for camels and enjoy sunset over the dunes before reaching camp. Dinner and breakfast at camp.
Day 2: Erg Chegaga – Erg Lihoudi – Zagora
An early start for a magical sunrise over the dunes, a shower and breakfast. Return to Zagora via the Tinfou dunes.
