3-day desert tour from Zagora to Erg Chegaga: a private, tailor-made trip with your own driver and a flexible itinerary.

Two nights in Morocco’s wildest desert, with a full free day among the dunes.

Day 1: Zagora – Tamegroute – Erg Chegaga

4×4 pick-up at your hotel and drive to Tamegroute, a Draa Valley village known for its pottery and for the Nasiriyya zaouia, with its 17th-century Koranic library. Then M’Hamid through endless palm groves, and after lunch the track to the Erg Chegaga dunes, arriving well before sunset. Campfire and stars. Dinner and breakfast included both nights.

Day 2: Erg Chegaga by camel

A free day in the Sahara. After breakfast set off by camel from the camp and walk up the highest dunes. Lunch included and back at camp for sunset. Second night at the camp.

Day 3: Erg Chegaga – M’Hamid – Zagora

Sunrise is a magical moment you should not miss. After breakfast we head back to Zagora on a different track, via the last village of the Draa Valley and with a stop at the Tamegroute library. Arrival in Zagora around midday and end of our services.
