2-day trip from Marrakech to Essaouira: a private, tailor-made trip with your own driver and a flexible itinerary.
Essaouira is a walled town on the Atlantic, about 170 km from Marrakech. Its medina is a World Heritage Site. The atmosphere is relaxed and the fish at the port is excellent. With two days you can see it at an easy pace and stay the night.
Day 1: Marrakech – Ounagha – Essaouira
We pick you up at your hotel at 9:00 and head for the coast. On the way we pass Ounagha. Essaouira was built in the late 18th century with European-style walls. Since then it has been a trading port between Africa and Europe.
We have lunch at the port. Then you have free time for the medina, the Mellah (Jewish quarter), the Skala and the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdallah museum. At sunset we recommend a terrace with sea views. Night in a riad or hotel.
Day 2: Essaouira – Marrakech
You have the morning free to enjoy the town. In the afternoon we drive back to Marrakech and drop you at your accommodation.

- The walls and the Skala: ocean views and old cannons.
- The port: blue boats and freshly landed fish.
