4-day desert tour from Errachidia to Merzouga: a private, tailor-made trip with your own driver and a flexible itinerary.
A trip with transfers to and from Errachidia airport, a bivouac night among the dunes and a full loop of Erg Chebbi.
Day 1: arrival at Errachidia airport
We meet you at the airport and take you to your accommodation for the first night.
Day 2: Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi camel trek
After breakfast we drive from Erfoud towards the Erg Chebbi dunes on a Paris-Dakar track, past a fossil quarry and the tent of a nomad family living in the solitude of the desert. At the hotel at the foot of the dunes we swap the 4×4 for camels: sunset over the dunes and a night at a real nomad bivouac, with dinner in a Berber tent.
Day 3: Merzouga – Erg Chebbi – Rissani – Erfoud
Sunrise in the Sahara and a camel ride back to the hotel. After breakfast, a full loop of the dunes: Merzouga’s two oases, nomad lands, the Tisserdmine oasis and the village of Khamlia for Gnawa music. Then Rissani and its traditional souk, the largest in the south, and Erfoud with a fossil workshop. Night in a hotel.
Day 4: airport transfer
Transfer to the airport to suit your flight time. End of our services.
