5-day tour from Tangier to the desert and Marrakech: a private, tailor-made trip with your own driver and a flexible itinerary.

The north, the imperial cities and the Sahara in five days, from Tangier to Marrakech.

Day 1: Tangier – Chefchaouen

Pick-up at the port, hotel or airport and drive to Chefchaouen, the small fortified town of blue and white houses, one of the prettiest in the Rif. Free time and night in a riad in the medina.

Day 2: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

Visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis, then the imperial city of Meknes and its monuments. Arrival in Fes in the afternoon and night in a riad.

Day 3: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Merzouga

Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its rooftops, Azrou in the country’s largest cedar forest, Midelt, known for apples and minerals, the Ziz Valley and Erfoud with its fossils. Then we swap the car for a dromedary and spend a memorable night in the heart of the desert.

Day 4: Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley

Sunrise from the highest dune, breakfast and a hot shower. Rissani, Erfoud and the fossil-marble workshop, Tinejdad, Tinghir and the Todra Gorges, a haven for climbers, with free time. Dinner and night in the Dades Valley.

Day 5: Dades Gorges – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

Visit the village and kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, set for Babel, Gladiator and Aladdin, then over the High Atlas via the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m). Drop-off at your hotel or the airport in Marrakech.
