This is our most popular desert tour. In just three days you cross the Atlas, see kasbahs and gorges and sleep among the great Erg Chebbi dunes. You also return through the Draa Valley, so you never repeat the same road.

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades

We pick you up at your hotel in Marrakech. First, we cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n’Tichka pass. Along the way we stop for the views. Then we take a detour to visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou. There you have time to walk around and climb to the top.

Next, we reach Ouarzazate. If you like, you can visit the film studios. Then we pass the Skoura palm grove and the Valley of Roses. In the afternoon we arrive in the Dades Valley. Dinner and night in a hotel by the river.

Day 2: Dades – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast we follow the road of the kasbahs. The landscape changes colour: ochre, red and mauve. Then we reach Tinghir and the Todra Gorges. Their walls rise hundreds of metres. You have free time to walk between them.

Later we pass through Erfoud, the fossil town. Finally, we arrive in Merzouga, facing the Erg Chebbi dunes. At the hotel we enjoy a welcome tea and leave the luggage. Then we ride into the desert by dromedary to the camp. Dinner and night in a tent, under the stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Nkob – Draa Valley – Marrakech

In the morning we ride back to the hotel for breakfast. After that, we pass through Rissani and Nkob. Then we follow the Draa Valley, one of the longest rivers in Morocco. On the way we see mud-brick kasbahs and Berber villages. Finally, we cross the Atlas again and reach Marrakech in the evening.
