Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Fes

Your driver picks you up around 7–8 am. In Rabat, the capital, the medina walls, the Kasbah and gate of the Udayas and the Hassan Tower with its Andalusian garden. In Fes, a tour with a professional local guide of the UNESCO sites and the tanneries, where you will meet the leather craftsmen. Night in Fes.

Day 2: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga

Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco”, the Azrou cedar forest and its monkeys, and lunch near Midelt in Zaida. Then the Ziz Valley, Errachidia and Erfoud. In Merzouga, a break at the hotel and a camel ride into the heart of the Sahara for sunset. Night at a camp with well-equipped private tents.

Day 3: Merzouga – Tinejdad – Tinghir – Todra Gorges – Dades

Sunrise from the top of the Erg Chebbi dunes, breakfast and a shower. Tinejdad and the Todra Gorges, with 300 m walls perfect for climbing: a walk and lunch. In the afternoon the Dades Valley and its views. Night in the valley.

Day 4: Dades – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

The Valley of Roses and the road of a thousand kasbahs to Ouarzazate. Lunch and a visit to the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO site and a fortified mud-brick village. In the afternoon, the High Atlas and the Tizi n’Tichka pass (2,260 m) to Marrakech, where the tour ends.
