7-day tour from Rabat to Fes, Chefchaouen and Tangier
7-day tour from Rabat to Fes, Chefchaouen and Tangier: a private, tailor-made trip with your own driver and a flexible itinerary.
Northern Morocco in a week: the imperial cities, the blue city and the coast between Tangier and Asilah.
Day 1: airport – Rabat
Pick-up at Rabat airport with a name sign and transfer to your hotel or riad.
Day 2: Rabat – Meknes – Fes
Meknes, the quietest of the imperial cities: el-Hedim square, the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail, Bab Mansour, the Dar Jamai museum and the Bou Inania madrasa, in a region of fields and vineyards. Night in a riad in Fes.
Day 3: guided Fes
Fes el-Bali, a UNESCO site, from Bab Boujloud: the zaouia of Moulay Idriss, the Andalusian quarter and the Es-Sahrij madrasa, the Dar Batha palace and the Al Qaraouiyine mosque-university, founded in 859 by Fatima al-Fihri.
Day 4: Fes – Chefchaouen
North to the “blue city”, whose Berber name means “look at the horns”. With a local guide you explore the medina and the 18th-century kasbah built by Moulay Ismail, with its gardens and ethnographic museum.
Day 5: Chefchaouen – Tangier – Caves of Hercules – Cape Spartel – Asilah
Cape Spartel, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic, with its 1865 lighthouse, and the Caves of Hercules, opening onto the Strait of Gibraltar. Arrival in Asilah for sunset: beaches, harbour, 15th-century walls and a white medina. Dinner and night.
Day 6: Asilah – Rabat
A free morning in the medina and, in the afternoon, back to Rabat. Night in a riad.
Day 7: Rabat – airport
Transfer to the airport at the agreed time. End of our services.
This itinerary is tailor-made: any stop can be changed and we will gladly adapt it.
