Day 1: Errachidia – Merzouga
Meet your driver at Errachidia airport and set off for the desert, with scenic stops and a visit to a fossil workshop in the Ziz Valley. Then by camel across the dunes to the tented camp.
Day 2: desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Valley of Roses
Up before dawn to climb the dunes and watch the sun rise over the Sahara. Breakfast, a shower and a dromedary ride back to the car. Via Erfoud we reach the Todra Gorges around lunchtime, then the Dades and the Valley of Roses, where we spend the night.
Day 3: Valley of Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
First stop Ouarzazate, “Africa’s Hollywood” with its big film studios, then Ait Ben Haddou, set for Gladiator, Lawrence of Arabia and The Jewel of the Nile. In the afternoon we cross the High Atlas to Marrakech. Night in a hotel.
Day 4: guided Marrakech
A local guide takes you into the medina, a maze of history, scents and colours: the Bahia Palace, El Badi Palace, the Saadian Tombs and the souks. Night in a hotel.
Day 5: Marrakech – airport
Your driver takes you to the airport at the agreed time. End of our services.
